"This is to officially announce that @deepikapadukone will not be a part of the upcoming sequel of #Kalki2898AD. After careful consideration, We have decided to part ways. Despite the long journey of making the first film, we were unable to find a partnership. And a film like @Kalki2898AD deserves that commitment and much more. We wish her the best with her future works," it read.In a Harper's Bazaar interview, Deepika had opened up about how big-budget movies do not excite her as a professional. She said, "Because honestly, how much more fame, how much more success, how much more money? At this stage, it’s not about that anymore. It’s not about the Rs100-crore films, or even the Rs500- Rs600 crore ones." She further added, "And that doesn’t excite me anymore. What excites me is empowering other talent. My team and I are now focused on that—enabling storytelling and supporting other creative minds, writers, directors, and even new producers. That’s what feels meaningful to me now." On the professional front, Priyanka is gearing up for the release of SS Rajamouli's Varanasi. (이 의원이) 여자 히틀러 호칭에 대해서는 시비를 걸고 여자 전두환에 대해서는 안 거냐는 말씀을 해주셨다”며 “‘여자 전두환’이라는 호칭은 좋아하시나 보다”라고 했다.이어 그는 “그래서 앞으로 우리 당에서는 이 의원이 상당히 선호한다고 보여지는 이름으로 ‘여자 전두환’으로 통일해 불러드리는 것이 어떨까라는 생각이 들었다“고 말했다.한편, 이날 국회에서는 본회의를 통해 민주당 주도로 이 의원에 대한 제명 촉구 결의안이 통과됐다. 표결에는 159명이 참여해 찬성 157표, 반대 1표, 기권 1표로 가결됐다. 이는 인사 안건이라 무기명 투표 방식으로 진행됐다. 민주당이 발의한 결의안 표결에는 조국혁신당과 진보당 등 범여권이 참여했다.이날 결의안 강행 처리에 반발한 국민의힘 의원 대부분은 안건이 상정된 직후 본회의장을 떠났다. 다만 친한(친한동훈)계 등 일부 의원은 표결에 참여하기도 했다.。
